Overview
Brookwood Residence is an original portfolio study exploring how a grand entryway and formal dining room can work together to create a cohesive luxury living experience. The study demonstrates how thoughtful space planning, curated furnishings, layered materials, and intentional styling can transform two of the home's most important entertaining spaces into environments that feel refined, welcoming, and functional.
Design Direction
The design is centered around a timeless palette of warm neutrals, rich wood finishes, natural textures, and elegant architectural details. Carefully selected furnishings and layered styling create a seamless connection between the entryway and dining room while allowing each space to maintain its own identity.
The grand entryway was envisioned as a memorable first impression, featuring statement lighting, curated furnishings, architectural detailing, and thoughtfully styled accessories that establish a sense of warmth and sophistication upon arrival.
The formal dining room was designed to encourage conversation and connection through generous seating, sculptural lighting, rich wood furnishings, and balanced proportions. Layered textures and decorative accents add depth while maintaining a calm, timeless aesthetic.
